Stiekem Gesjanst is an energetic Nederpop tribute band that brings the soundtracks of several generations back to the stage with complete conviction. With a repertoire full of classics and audience favorites from the likes of De Dijk, The Scene, Toontje Lager, Bløf and Goldband, the band knows how to turn every performance into a compelling feast of recognition. Sultry grooves, poetic lyrics, warm melodies and choruses that everyone sings along loudly: that is Stiekem Gesjanst.
The band consists of six experienced musicians who know their craft and love to share their joy.
With passion, musicality and a large dose of stage fun, Stiekem Gesjanst brings the best Dutch pop classics to life - always recognizable, always sincere, and always inviting to sing along, move and experience.
What is unique about this band is that only Dutch-language pop is played that is recognizable to everyone and appeals to a wide audience. The band has performed a lot last year. The locations vary from small pubs to large stages such as music pubs, festivals, company parties, summer festivals and fairs. Last year Stiekem Gesjanst has played at the following locations: the Spinola festival Breda, Pitpop festival in Mierlo, café de Stam in Winterswijk, P79 's-Hertogenbosch, fair Olland café de Beuk, fair Schijndel the Triangelbar, grand café Dun Brabander Made, De Weeffabriek Geldrop and café de Groese Duintjes in Groede.
There are 3 sets of 50 minutes played but this can also be adjusted in consultation.
The band consists of
a drummer, bassist, rhythm guitarist, solo guitarist, keyboardist and singer, with several musicians also doing backing vocals.
The band members all have a lot of stage experience and like to interact with the audience.
