Rolf Sanchez, also known as the King of Dutch Latin, has his roots in the Dominican Republic. He moved to the Netherlands at a young age. He first gained widespread recognition here through his appearance on *Beste Zangers* in 2019. And now he’s performing on ShowBird, too!

Rolf Sanchez is a Dutch singer of Dominican descent, known for his powerful voice and blend of pop, bachata, and Latin music. He rose to fame after appearing on “The Voice of Holland” in 2011 and has since released hits such as “Por Si No Te Vuelvo a Ver” and “Mas Mas Mas.” His infectious rhythms and energetic performances have earned him a growing fan base, both in the Netherlands and internationally.

Rolf Sanchez is currently the Netherlands’ biggest and most successful export in the field of Latin music. With no fewer than two diamond records for his No. 1 hits on the US Billboard Tropical Airplay chart, two nominations for the prestigious Premios Juventud (Best New Artist) and Premio Lo Nuestro (Best Act), and numerous sold-out shows in Latin America, Rolf Sanchez possesses all the qualities of a globally successful pop artist.

In 2019, the King of Dutch Latin returned from the U.S. Thanks to his successful appearance on the television show *Beste Zangers*, he also became a favorite among a wide audience in the Netherlands.

This was largely due to the catchy duet “Pa Olvidarte,” which he performed with Emma Heesters. The song became the fastest-rising track on the charts and reached the Top 5 within three weeks. At that time, the duet was the highest-charting Dutch-Spanish song ever in the Top 40. “Pa Olvidarte” spent no fewer than 12 weeks at number 2 on the Top 40.
