"Mo To Go" will transform your party into a song and dance palace, an unforgettable event.
This versatile explosive singer is small in stature but blessed with a great voice. With her powervoice and stage presence she makes the audience frenzied singing and swinging along
Disco, dance, rock, 70's 80's 90's to contemporary music, you ask it, Monique sings it!
How it began:
The daughter of well-known Rotterdam "all-round" musician Rinus de Bruin, Monique began her vocal studies at the Havo Voor Muziek en Dans at the age of 13.
Already at the age of fourteen she was chosen to represent the Netherlands at the Unicef-Gala "The International Danny Kaye Award for Children", presented by Audrey Hepburn and produced by the Tros so it was broadcast all over Europe on TV and Radio. Accompanied by Jerney Kaagman and comedian/Unicef goodwill ambassador Paul van Vliet, she reached the honorable second place with the song "Place in your heart," a composition by Edwin Schimscheimer and Bert Ruiter (Focus/Earth & Fire/Youp van 't Heck).
From this flowed many offers including interest from abroad, TV programs,
interviews and performances
In 1998 she graduated from the Rotterdam Conservatory of Vocal Light Music
Since then, besides her own regular bands Glance, Glitz Party Band & Piano-Vocal Duo Mo², she has been working as a (freelance/invocal) singer with various bands and is in great demand for studio work, CD productions, backing vocals, sessions, individual projects, but especially for cover bands.
Between 1996 - 2023 she performs occasionally with "Koos Mark Big Band", including in Montreux and in England for the famous family "Chaplin" (Charlie Chaplin)
With the producer duo Swingfish, she scored a hit in the UK (Ideal World) with the Christmas single "Ding Dong it's Christmas" and was used in the special Christmas episode of the American series CSI and movie "The Oranges" with Hugh Laurie.
Vocal Coach/Vocal Teacher:
She has also been working as a singing teacher/Vocal Coach for about 25 years at the SKVR, Popvilla and for the commercial Belgian TV program of VTM, Endemol Belgium: "The Voice Kids Flanders".

A quirky hard-working, theatrical singer. A professional woman with enthusiastic energetic and flamboyant performance. Works quickly and efficiently. She specializes in pop, funk, soul, (hard) rock, musical, cabaret, disco, dance, trance and Dutch. She also has experience in Big Band and Jazz.

Reviews
, Paul van Vliet
All positive reactions from both the client and his guests. But the people at the party center were also wildly enthusiastic. What I also want to mention: the client was very pleased with your total performance. So not only the performance, but also being there on time, social talk beforehand with both him and his wife. So (again) nothing but praise!
