California-born singer Renee de Ruijter began singing and playing guitar at an early age. Once settled
in the Netherlands, she began performing throughout the country, both solo and with her cover band. Her talent did not go unnoticed, so she was asked to audition for a world-renowned TV talent show, where she made it to the semi-finals.
