Memphis Soul Stew represents a balanced stew richly flavored with all those typical "Southern" ingredients that come together from the wide Memphis-Tennessee region.
The raw base with the salt and acid is the blues, the sweetness is the gospel, balanced by the Rhythm & Blues with the earthy tones of country.
And flavored in all its facets with soul, lots of soul.
The Memphis Soul Stew does not play a series of the big hits from the enormously rich "Memphis legacy," this would also be impractical; it is a thoughtful and balanced menu of more-or-less familiar songs, each song "serving up" the depth and sophistication of the aforementioned stew.
Join us on this musical (and culinary) journey to-, in and around- Memphis and be figuratively immersed and carried away in the deep caverns of this historic city.

In Katwijk enjoyed a good blues band that gave a wonderful performance that did not leave the dance floor unused. And also not unimportant, pleasant musicians who do not ask the main price.

Robbert Fossen and his band played the roof of the house on Sunday. It was a Sunday afternoon but that was nowhere to be seen, people flew onto the dance floor and enjoyed the show from start to finish. The finest blues classics passed by and are performed with honor by Robbert and his very good band.
