May Florence is a Dutch singer/songwriter. She makes acoustic alternative/indie pop with melodramatic elements and unique vocals. Her musical examples/inspiration are Billie Eilish, Finneas, Raye and Keshi.

In addition to her own work, Florance enjoys covering her favorite songs. She enjoys making music on her own terms, but has also worked on songs for friends in love and, of course, for school.

From a young age, May Florance nurtured a passion for singing and performing. She performed at every family party with a new cover or a self-choreographed dance. At ages 12 and 15, she taught herself to play the piano and guitar, respectively. In 2016, she also began writing her own songs, and thus her music journey truly began.

Her love for the arts grew at her former high school: The Theaterhavo/vwo in Rotterdam, where she took theater, singing and dance classes. She graduated high school with an arts profile specializing in singing.

Since then, Florance has continued to write and compose music. She released her first self-produced EP "The FLORANCE Project" in late 2024. She will gladly come and play this live at your party/event.
