May Florance brings live music for special moments. With her warm voice and alternative indie pop, she creates a personal, atmospheric setting in which each song comes to life. In between, she shares stories about her songs, explains where they come from and makes small interactions with the audience. The result is an intimate, heartfelt and atmospheric experience where music and stories come together.
Her music feels close, touches without overpowering and leaves a lasting impression.

May Florance plays mostly her own songs, supplemented by covers. She makes music in her own way and has a good sense of what suits the moment and the setting. That can be an intimate atmosphere in private, but just as well a larger party or event.

Music has been running through her whole life. From singing at family parties to teaching herself piano and guitar and writing her own songs. That love of music continued to grow during her education at the Theaterhavo/vwo in Rotterdam, where she specialized in singing while also taking theater and dance classes.
In 2024, May was accepted to the AMP program, where she continues to develop herself as an artist and producer. Meanwhile, she is building her musical repertoire online, with her own releases and new music that continues to grow.
