May Florance (b. 2004) is a singer/songwriter who makes acoustic indie-pop music with melodramatic elements, unique vocals and mostly English language. The lyrics in her songs are written as short stories, based on real-life experiences or completely made up by her creative imagination.

In addition to her own work, Florance enjoys covering her favorite songs. She enjoys making music on her own terms, but has also worked on songs for friends in love and, of course, for school.

From a young age, May Florance nurtured a passion for singing and performing. She performed at every family party with a new cover or a self-choreographed dance. At ages 12 and 15, she taught herself to play the piano and guitar, respectively. In 2016, she also began writing her own songs, and thus her music journey truly began.

Her love for the arts grew at her former high school: The Theaterhavo/vwo in Rotterdam, where she took theater, singing and dance classes. She graduated high school with an arts profile specializing in singing.

Since then, Florance has continued to write and compose music, earning three previously unreleased albums and an unreleased EP.

Now she is ready to share her voice and creations with the world and would love to come perform at your party/event.
