Hey there, we are Marieke & Siebren and together we form the duo Rooted! With Rooted we provide music at events in the grounded styles of Jazz, Folk, Soul and Pop, think of artists like Ella Fitzgerald, Eva Cassidy, James Taylor, Sting and Ilse de Lange! Fine to listen to, and fun to watch!

Suppose we come to play with you, what can you expect?

There are 2 of us and we always bring our own gear, think of guitar, microphone and sound set (up to 200 people). In advance we have discussed for how long you need music and if there are any special requirements during, between, before or after the gig. Requests may always be submitted so there is something familiar during your event. We build up our own gear, adjust the sound to the situation and enjoy!

Rooted consists of two professional musicians who both also work in music. Rooted consists of acoustic guitar and vocals.

Duo Rooted can be used for various occasions. Relaxed background music at a fine volume.
