Elias has been an all-round party singer for over 7 years: from André Hazes and Django Wagner to his own repertoire. He used to be a city councilor in The Hague and is also a radio DJ at Den Haag FM and a presenter.
Former politician, now party singer! Since 2018, Elias has been turning many a stage upside down and launching multiple singles of his own, which are often played on national stations. On May 15, 2015, he will perform at Chicco in Concert in a sold-out Paard van Troje (large hall).

December was, as it is every year, packed. We were looking forward to Christmas dinner, final business done, Christmas bonuses determined and packages handed out. Still, everyone came in a little tired, with partners, so also a little uncomfortable. After about ten minutes Elias van Hees came in, with sound man. They plugged in a few plugs, and Elias began, "Christmas in the Pub," followed by "Ode to the Bartender" and "The Baker's Girl." Hague schlagers. It took less than a minute before all the young staff were swinging, and the beers went merrily around and quickly in. In no time everyone from 18 to 86 was dancing. On The Hague's Buitenhof, people looked up in surprise, and inside, where one schlager after another was loudly sung along. After an hour, everyone was hoarse and full of beer and bitterballs. Then the Christmas dinner had yet to begin. What an atmosphere!
