We play Folk music with passion. Our roots in Irish Folk music can be heard and seen in our performance. Every performance is again a big party. The powerful vocals of Benyan combined with his guitar parts. The uptempo jigs and reels in which Wendy's violin rises above the stage. Richard's drums that stir up the audience to clap and dance. Janien with her pure singing voice and mandolin that is a point of light on stage every time. And Stein with his magical double bass that knows how to hit every deep note. From ballads to sing-alongs!

Seamus and the Horses was founded by Benyan Admiral just before corona time in 2019. Over time, several experienced musicians joined.

Originating as a traditional Irish folk and ballad band, Seamus and the Horses is known for their dynamic arrangements, energetic performances and charisma.

Seamus and the Horses, Seamus = The band as a whole. The Horses? Those are the various musicians manifesting within the band at the time. This varies for everyone's enjoyment. The foundation is set with fiddle, guitar, bass, drums, men's and women's vocals. Although the band began as an Irish folk and ballad band, interpreting the repertoire of old Irish legends such as The Dubliners, The Clancy Brothers, The Pogues and Liam Clancy, the objective is precisely to play Folk in the broadest sense.

In recent years, Seamus and the Horses has already performed 3 theater productions in which they look beyond the borders.
