The long-haired Lieven sings repertoire Toon Hermans, Wim Sonneveld, Henk Elsink, Jasperina de Jong and Conny Stuart. Songs like Het Dorp, Kleine Johanna, Vierentwintig Rozen, Tango van het Blote Kontje, Tea Room Tango, De Koningin van Lombardije, Tippetip Bat, De Bij... but with a Flemish accent.

He brings his own interpretations of well-known and lesser known Dutch cabaret songs but with a Flemish accent. Lieven tells very personal stories that make it a very intimate and intense performance, with a laugh and a tear. The cabaret artist's entire outfit and all accessories are red, down to the smallest detail; Lieven is a born storyteller and many an audience in Flanders hung on his every word with this intimate cabaret concert. Het Dorp, Kleine Johanna, Vierentwintig Rozen, Tango van het Blote Kontje, Tea Room Tango, De Koningin van Lombardije, Tippetip Bat, De Bij... Lieven sings "live on tape" and can bring his own sound reinforcement. A possible live piano accompaniment (by Marc Maes) is possible on request (390 EUR extra for the pianist). Organization needs to provide its own piano.

Lieven Debrauwer is known in Flanders as the maker of the film 'PAULINE EN PAULETTE' (2001, with Dora van der Groen and Ann Petersen). His films won many awards including two prizes at the world famous Cannes Film Festival. For his second feature film 'CONFITUUR' (2004) he was even able to ensnare his childhood idol Jasperina de Jong in one of her last film projects! But as a child he did not dream of cinema... but of theater! As a child he was already in the attic theater at home. Lieven tells and sings.
