Heebie Jeebies formed in Ghent out of a shared love of swing jazz and of the voice as a pure instrument. Authentic and unpolished. Triton sounds like they are straight out of the 30s. Nette, Sofie and Julie each have a very distinctive voice that blends wonderfully with each other and together will give you goose bumps on your arms and a spontaneous smile on your face.
Accompanied by Lodewijk Dedain on guitar and Geertjan Tillmans on double bass, Triton will also make your dancing legs tingle.

Heebie Jeebies is a quintet consisting of 3 voices: Sofie Cabooter, Julie Honorez and Nette Mortelmans, guitar: Lodewijk Dedain and double bass: Geertjan Tillmans.
They bring you hot and sweet close harmony jazz from 1920s New Orleans. The repertoire is mainly based on that of 'The Boswell sisters', but songs by the famous Andrew sisters, the Mills brothers as well as their own arrangements are featured in the set.

They will perform a set of 2x 45 min. covering everything from sultry ballads to swinging jazz. They charge 200 euros per musician (1000 in total) plus transportation expenses depending on travel distance.
