La source qui chante is a group specializing in the repertoire of French chanson of the period 1920-1950. Many famous artists such as Josephine Baker, Edith Piaf, Germaine Montero, Charles Trenet, Berthe Sylva, Fréhel, and many others are interpreted in a witty, original way by these excellent musicians.
This line-up consists of voice : Sofie Cabooter, guitar: Sam Opstaele, double bass : Pieter Mortier and violin : Livio Luzzi. We are available both as a trio or quartet to take you fully into the wonderful stories told in these folk songs that are about real life, with its sorrows and joys.
We perform 2 sets of 45 min (with possible intermission) and charge 200 euros per musician. Either in trio (600)
or quartet (800). Transportation costs are also expected to be charged depending on distance.
