From jazz to pop and even opera, Amsterdam-based Canadian singer Rachel GL can do it all!

Rachel GL, also known as Rachel Rhea (singer-songwriter), is a versatile Canadian singer, songwriter, and pianist who lives in Amsterdam. Thanks to her wide-ranging repertoire, she’s perfect for all kinds of occasions. Whether you’re looking for atmospheric background music during a reception, a stylish jazz singer for a dinner party, or an energetic pop singer for a party, Rachel is the perfect choice. Rachel is available for performances as a solo artist and can accompany herself on the piano or sing along to professional backing tracks. A duo, trio, or full band is also available upon request (for an additional fee).

As the winner of the audience award at the Concours International Chant Lyrique Canari, Rachel’s performances are characterized by her confidence on stage, her versatility, the warmth of her voice, and her ability to connect with the audience. Her repertoire is very diverse: jazz standards, French chansons, hits from the 1970s to the present, as well as classical music (opera) for special occasions. She is also happy to accept song requests upon consultation.

She began taking voice and piano lessons at the age of six and has been performing ever since. In 2020, she earned a Bachelor of Music from the Conservatoire de Musique de Montréal, and in 2022, she earned her Master of Music from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Thanks to her international education and years of stage experience, she knows how to tailor each performance to the atmosphere of the event.

The listed price is for a 60-minute performance. Please specify your specific requests in the request form. The price does not include VAT, equipment, travel expenses, any waiting time, or special requests. If you would like an additional musician, a surcharge will apply.
