Trio Tangata brings music full of passion. Professional, experienced, sparkling and young. Melancholy, melancholy, but also exuberant and driving rhythms make Trio Tangata a feast for your ear, eye and heart.
Trio Tangata plays in small or larger ensembles. The basis consists of Jacqueline Edeling (bandonéon), Margreet Markerink (piano) and on double bass Boris Franz or Suze Stiphout.
Argentine violinist Andrea Bentivoglio often complements Tangata.
Collaboration with singer Jeannine Geerts gives their performances extra color.
For special events Tangata collaborates with the internationally renowned dance couple Carlos & Mirella.
Trio Tangata has already played on many stages. Festivals and concert halls in Tuscany, Finland, Istanbul, Granada, Paris, Germany to Buenos Aires. Also small stages in special locations and at intimate living room concerts. With changing line-ups they played all over Europe and beyond.
Four CDs Trio Tangata made: "Alive" (2018) live in Vredenburch with violinist Andrea Bentivoglio and singer Jeannine Geerts, "Encuentros" (2016) with singer Jeannine Geerts. "Historias del Sur" with singer José Rivero (Argentina), singer Lilian Vieira (Brazil) and bassist Adinda Meertins and "Mis cosas favoritas" with singer Jose Rivero appeared earlier.
