Do you want a jazz-award winning trio on you event? With influences from the middle east, classical music and contemporary jazz this trio makes your event unforgettable.
The German pianist and bandleader Yannic Forster has recently delved into music from the Middle East. His melodious compositions reflect dedication to detail, taking the listener on a musical journey filled with small surprises. Inspired by artists such as Avishai Cohen, Franz von Chossy, and Oliver Messiaen, he creates a musical bridge between the ancient East and the contemporary West.
The trio's secret lies in the interaction among its members. Drummer Damian de Muijnck and double bassist Zack Lober build their rhythms with and upon each other, giving rise to interwoven structures that serve as the foundation for the singing melody. The trio was featured at Make it Jazz Tilburg and the UJazz Festival in Utrecht. Just this year, the
trio won the 'Denise Jannah Award' during the Grachtenfestival Jazz Competition in Amsterdam.
