A nostalgic music performance for seniors. This performance takes place on a beautiful Pentecost day. As we float along the waterfront of yesteryear, we travel together with the audience. Memories come to life and making contact is central. With songs from the 50s and 60s, such as 'Dobbe, dobbe dobbe', 'Jump on the back' and of course 'There by the waterfront'. The friendly nature of the performance also makes it very suitable for elderly people with dementia.

The show will be performed by Music Care. Music Care consists of a group of professional actors and musicians who bring theater directly to care facilities. With the goal of making seniors with and without dementia happy with music. The actors move with the audience. While singing, they make eye contact and sense exactly who needs a chat, a dance, a wink or a hug. And that makes a lot of noise with the people ... they show recognition: a hand that moves, humming to the music and they even start talking again.

Music Care's music performances were developed under the watchful eye of ambassadors and professional theater makers Marleen van der Loo, Pia Douwes, André van Duin and Robin de Levita.
