In early 2019, Bart was asked to fill in as a folk singer at a student party. With minimal stage experience and a small repertoire, he accepted this challenge.

This performance became a success and was the start of his career.

Meanwhile, Bart has become a well-known name in Amsterdam's student life and is starting to gain national fame.

In recent years he has expanded his repertoire under the name Bertje Keizers and continues to work on his voice and performance. Experiences with full evening programs in various cafes including café Leentje on the Rembrandtplein have made great strides.

From home he already got the love for the music of Hazes, but also songs of René Froger, Tino Martin, Django Wagner, John West and many others, are now in his repertoire.

Bart is the Dutch folk and party singer and distinguishes himself with a touch of pop in his voice and always well dressed on stage.

He adapts his Dutch and English repertoire to his audience and of course always sings the latest Dutch hits.

After a lightning start as Bertje Keizers, 2023 will be the year of even more own style and his first own music. All this under his new name Bart Keizers. Through successful participations in various talent shows including Jantjes Verjaardag his popularity continues to boom.
