Salmonella is a theatrical pop duo that interweaves experimental pop and kleinkunst. Julia Rosenhart and Eva Mareen take the audience into a story that moves between music, spoken word and surprising theatrical moments.
Salmonella consists of singer-songwriter Julia Rosenhart and actress/singer Eva Mareen. Together they create a theatrical concert in which music and story coexist equally. Their style moves between experimental pop and cabaret: synths, polyphony and unexpected harmonies, interspersed with short spoken texts that carry the story forward.
They play a performance of about an hour, suitable for festivals, theaters and corporate performances. Although the performance is clearly story-driven, it leaves room for the audience to interact with them at certain moments.
They require space for synthesizers and like to work with amplification, but can also bring their own speakers when needed. The atmosphere of a Salmonella performance cannot be captured in one word: it is an emotional roller coaster. From intimate to
