Yvet enchants with songs that balance between dream and reality. Growing up in a musical family, she was touched early on by the power play of lyrics and melody.
Inspired by her father, she began writing Dutch-language songs; her English-language work bears the influences of artists such as Tori Amos, An Pierlé and Agnes Obel.

Her songs are melancholic and poetic, but always genuine. They are small stories full of atmosphere that take you from the everyday to the magical. Yvet plays with dynamics, tempo and language and switches effortlessly between Dutch and English.

Yvet works a lot with talented students and has also performed a lot with other musicians and choirs. If desired, musical additions can be considered in consultation.

Her repertoire shines brightest in intimate (theater) settings such as living room concerts, art tours, or venues with character. It is there, in direct contact with the audience, that the magic happens: a place where you can feel, lose yourself, and drift off into a daydream for a moment…
