The duo Cecilia (vocals) and Sybren (guitar/bugelhorn) are true purebred musicians, started young with music and always played in different bands. They met in a larger jazz/funk band and decided during the corona period to work out a separate set together as a duo.
Sybren and Cecilia play an intimate, accessible set of songs and medleys that celebrate life and love, fine acoustic jazz and easy listening pop with a little soul twist, where you can dream away. Known guilty pleasures alternated with light pop, jazz but also Janis Joplin in between!
On request we also work out songs that are special for the occasion and have a special meaning. We can also record this on video and send it afterwards.

Our performance and music are ideally suited for get-togethers, small parties and wedding ceremonies.
Audiences who are having a drink can hear our atmospheric music and well-known songs in the background. But also intimate moments during a wedding ceremony where a special song belongs.

The cost depends on the duration of the performance and by mutual agreement. The basic cost is about 500 euros for one hour, if the performance is longer, every half hour costs are added. The total amount will be determined in consultation, depending on the wishes. Most costs are for 'showing up',
playing a little longer is relatively less expensive.

A few weeks ago I got to listen to Cecilia and Sybren's music for the first time! What a feast that was! And how beautiful this girl can sing, she really gives me goose bumps sometimes. From jazz to pop, they are very versatile! Definitely recommended for a party at home or with colleagues!

I had the pleasure of watching and listening to the band Just the two of us in December. It is a wonderful collaboration between two SUPER talented musicians. Their repertoire includes songs that everyone knows, but are interpreted in a wonderful, authentic way. Cecilia has a pure, clean voice that touches every note. Sybren is incredibly musical and has an "innate ability to improvise," it seems. Together they have the ability to inspire each other and the audience. Their performance is intimate, with the two complementing each other. Their musicality is both delicate and powerful, and they manage to captivate the audience from start to finish.
