JustUs is a level jazz band with twelve instrumentalists (bass, piano, drums, trumpet, trombone and saxophone) and with a singer. Tightly led by Werner Jansen, vocally and instrumentally, energetic and danceable, they perform a repertoire of traditional big band pieces, swing and Latin jazz, and an occasional pop number.

This (almost) big band, founded in 1995, is based in Woerden. However, its members come from all over the region. Werner Janssen, a saxophonist who regularly performs with the Metropole Orchestra, is the conductor and has also composed a number of arrangements. The diverse and distinctive repertoire fully showcases the band’s musical power and polyphonic arrangements for wind instruments, whether in swinging big band classics, jazz-funk, Latin jazz, or even melodic pop.

The prices listed are an estimate for a performance of 1 x 60 min, 2 x 45 min, or 3 x 40 min.
A small vocal system can be provided for an additional fee; see below.
All costs for a larger sound system will be passed on, including a 10% booking fee.
