Singer-songwriter D. Bernard (Diederik Wentink) is a musician from Haarlem. With his dreamy piano music he provides a unique experience in an intimate setting! He has been playing since he was twelve and when he later got a piano at home, he went wild. Since then he has developed a completely unique style and way of playing. His music includes influences from various artists such as The Beatles, Coldplay, Radiohead and David Bowie. He creates his own songs, much of his own work deals with personal themes such as his newborn children whom he loves dearly. He certainly doesn't shy away from playing a cover and is open to anything! At the moment he is available mainly on weekends,
a performance during the week is possible by arrangement.

I got in touch with Diederik through Showbird. He played during our marriage proposal. I had some difficult wishes beforehand but Diederik was not difficult at all. We have a play list with favorite songs and I went through it with him and discussed which ones he could possibly play for us. When my girlfriend arrived, Diederik played rewrite the stars, which he played and sang wonderfully. After the proposal some family and friends came by. He played and sang in the background very nicely without rising above us. In addition, Diederik is just a very nice reliable guy and was there in plenty of time. After his performance everyone still had a nice chat with him, so he also fell into the group very nicely. He was really part of the moment. Diederik thanks again for your services, this experience will not be taken away from us!

We booked singer/pianist D. Bernard for our event and it was a hit! From the first moment he sensed exactly the atmosphere and played what we had asked for. In the beginning he provided pleasant background music that perfectly matched the relaxed beginning of the evening. Later he managed to turn the atmosphere into a festive setting with great sing-alongs. Our guests were extremely enthusiastic and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. D. Bernard is highly recommended!
