Because of his role as Andre Hazes in Musical and Film, Martijn Fischer can be booked with André Hazes' repertoire in various configurations.

Martijn Fischer graduated as an actor from the Utrecht School of the Arts in 1997. During his studies, he earned a living singing in a party band. After graduation, Martijn worked with theater companies such as RO Theater, the Nationaal Toneel, and the Amsterdam Bostheater, collaborating with directors like Matthijs Rümke, Peter de Baan, and Pieter Kramer. For example, he appeared alongside Tjitske Reidinga, Loes Luca, and Peter Blok in the plays *De Ingebeelde Zieke* and *Augustus: Oklahoma* by the Utrechtse Spelen.

On television and the big screen, Martijn has appeared in shows such as *Baantjer*, *Afblijven!*, *Gooische Vrouwen*, and *VRijland*, as well as playing the singer Tony Kroeze in the series *Bagels & Bubbels*. In 2013, he sang during the coronation ceremony on Museumplein and has performed in two editions at the Ziggo Dome during the four sold-out “Holland Zingt Hazes” concerts.

Since 2012, Martijn has played the lead role of André Hazes in the Joop van de Ende musical “Hij Gelooft In Mij”; the successful musical ran for over two years at Amsterdam’s De la Mar Theater. For this role, he received the 2013 John Kraaijkamp Musical Award for Best Male Lead.

Since early March, the film “Bloed, Zweet en Tranen” has been showing in theaters in Belgium and the Netherlands, in which Martijn stars alongside actress Hadewych Minis.
