Because of his role as Andre Hazes in Musical and Film, Martijn Fischer can be booked with André Hazes' repertoire in various configurations.

Martijn Fischer graduated as an actor from the Utrecht School of the Arts in 1997. During his studies he earned his living singing in a party band. After his studies Martijn worked for theatre companies such as RO theater, the Nationaal Toneel, the Bostheater in Amsterdam, with directors such as Matthijs Rümke, Peter de Baan and Pieter Kramer. He can be seen alongside Tjitske Reidinga, Loes Luca and Peter Blok in the plays 'The Imagined Sick' and 'August: Oklahoma' of the Utrecht Games

On television and the big screen Martijn can be seen in a.o. 'Baantjer', 'Afblijven!', 'Gooische Vrouwen', and 'VRijland' and as singer Tony Kroeze in the series 'Bagels & Bubbels'. In 2013 he will sing at the coronation on the museum square and he will already perform two editions in the Ziggo Dome during the four sold-out concerts 'Holland Zingt Hazes'.

Since 2012 Martijn played the lead role of André Hazes in the Joop of the Ende musical 'Hij Geloof In Mij' (He Believes in Me), the successful musical was performed for more than 2 years in the Amsterdam De la Mar Theatre. For this role he receives in 2013 the John Kraaijkamp Musical Award for best male lead.

Since the beginning of March, the film 'Blood, Sweat and Tears' has been shown in cinemas in Belgium and the Netherlands in which Martijn plays the leading role together with actress Hadewych Minis.
