They provide a very French ambiance aimable with various chansons of former chansonnieres as Edith Piaf, Lucienne Deleyle, Juliette Greco, Charles Aznavour, Gilbert Becaud and many others on your French tinted drinks / party / concert / dinner / event etc etc to brighten up
But they can also create a cozy Amsterdam atmosphere with real genuine Jordanian sing-alongs.

Madeleine has focused on French chansons, inspired by the song “Non, je ne regrette rien,” which was part of her nostalgic repertoire that she sang for healthcare workers in 2021/2022.
The chansons turned out to suit her well, and at a French-themed get-together(which she was invited to perform at), she met Rodolfo, the accordionist/pianist playing there, and they spontaneously performed together—it sounded so good and clicked so well that they started a duo called Les Deux je Veux.
In 2023, accompanied by Rodolfo, Madeleine competed in the finals of the Concours de la chanson française at the Torpedo Theater with two Edith Piaf songs: “Padam Padam” and “Mon Dieu.”
She was later described in a review in *De Telegraaf* as a singer
with the voice of Edith Piaf
She can perform with her own equipment and amplification, with Rodolfo accompanying her on the piano; alternatively, the two of them can walk around your party, reception, or event playing music unamplified, keeping the atmosphere relaxed and lively.
Dutch and English songs, as well as a few cabaret-style numbers, are also an option.

We usually perform 3 sets of 40 minutes or 2 sets of 45 minutes.

coordination with the artist beforehand went well, she was present and installed well on time. unfortunately not many French chansons, although this was discussed. Also discussed time, half hour singing, 15 minutes break, half hour singing, unfortunately this did not go well, no break was taken. in terms of singing it did not sound too good, unfortunately not satisfied with it, our residents not and this while almost all residents were present, very unfortunate.

Madeleine not only sings well, but she has a very diverse repertoire. She enthusiastically responds to her audience, whether it is for residents in a nursing home, a café or one in an association canteen. Even if the technique fails, (as she recently had at a performance with us in the Jan Bonga house in Amsterdam West) she does not let herself go out of the field and she improvises with the means at her disposal, so that the audience did not have to be disappointed and the performance could go on as if nothing was wrong and everyone was happy with it!

Your program Sentimental Journey, full of recognizable songs for our target group, beautifully and lovingly sung, predominantly in English, but also with a number of delightful Dutch Meezingers, was a party! This is exactly why I immediately recommended you to Zonnehuis Bovenkerk, where I am now working. Madeleine was with us a few times last year for a performance at a community building garden party of the Green opportunity and care facility Geuzenveld of Cordaan in Amsterdam west.
