Talkin' Blues, a blues rock band from The Hague that began in 2016 as a BB King tribute for a concert during The Hague's "Jazz in de Gracht." They are a well-oiled band that tours all over the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, visiting various festivals, theaters and other music venues, and sometimes a cozy music pub. Meanwhile, they also release several other blues classics, including from the early 70s. Think Mad Dog and Englishmen, think Woodstock, think Clapton and Crossroads! Since a few years they are expanded with the Delta Ladies, 3 singers who besides singing great also provide extra spectacle. Founder/frontman Peter Langerak himself is currently touring with the Twelve Bar Blues Band, has played with the likes of AJ Plug, Vitesse and is the musical director of the All Star band Rocktown Buddies at the annual The Hague Beat Festival. Together with Rinus Gerritsen, Caesar Zuiderwijk, Spike, Wouter Kiers, Peter Wassenaar, Tjaart Venema and the Delta Ladies, he accompanies a host of (inter)national artists each year (such as Erwin Nyhoff, Peter Koelewijn, Tim Akkerman, Rudy Bennett, Loïs Lane etc.).
Keyboard virtuoso Tjaart Venema is known from the band Lichter laaie and bassist Paul Robbert also plays in Blues 'n Stuff. Together with all-rounders drummer Sammy de Fretes and Delta Ladies Jennifer Trell, Diana ten Berge and Sharon Kamp, they have racked up a lot of blues, rock 'n soul mileage!
