Marije de Vries is a singer from Friesland. The music she plays are existing folk and soul songs from the 60s to the present. With a guitar, harmonica and a warm voice, Marije sets the tone for a relaxed and romantic atmosphere.

Marije has worked as a professional in music for many years. She performs in restaurants, at weddings and other occasions. She also works on several collaborative projects as a singer-songwriter.
Commissioned by Stichting Liet in Friesland, she wrote songs two years in a row that she also performed for the song festival of the same name. With the band WONDER, she previously performed at European festivals including the Showcase festival Eurosonic Noorderslag, Into The Great Wide Open and Grasnapolsky, and she recently toured internationally with the Folk trio Pinfeather.
