Mike Sanders was born in Arnhem on November 17, 1989 and spent his childhood in Oosterbeek and on the Spanish island of Ibiza. At a very young age Mike already dreamed of a career as a singer. Not so strange, since Mike's parents more than earned their spurs in showbiz. Mike's mother (Monique Gebbink) was a very successful singer and was the leading lady of the group 'Sugar and the Lollypops', with whom she scored several number 1 hits. Later as a backing vocalist she was a regular guest with other artists on stage and/or TV and frequently cooperated in recording studios as a choir singer.

Mike's father (Riny Schreijenberg) is also no stranger to showbiz land. Already at the age of 15 he shone as a trumpet player and under the name Marty he enjoyed national fame. Later as a producer and the discoverer of Frans Bauer, Marianne Weber and Thomas Berge, among others, he ran the well-known record company MM Records. A company with many famous artists.

Mike grew up in the world of showbiz, so it is not surprising that he (blessed with a beautiful voice) wanted to fulfill his dream as a singer.
However, his father made a deal with Mike, namely, first just work, gain experience in as many different fields as possible and then sing. After working in the catering industry for a year, Mike was allowed to record his first single "Dansend Door Het Leven" in 2007. It was obvious that his dad would lend him a hand as producer. The single did not go unnoticed by organizers of various events and the requests for performances increased. With the singing talent of his mother, the guts of his father and the absolute will to turn his great passion into his profession paid off.

Mike has very successful performances at festivals, parties and celebrations. With his wide choice of repertoire, Mike Sanders knows how to strike the right chord with everyone.
