As a 12-year-old guitarist, Kris' musical interest began with The Beatles. Then his attention shifted to (Gypsy) jazz, bossa nova and classical music. "I strongly believe that music connects and I'm happy to do my part in that Marloes' first love was Jazz. Later in her career many styles were added including: classical, pop, musical, Arabic classical, South Indian classical and close harmony. With Dekoor Close Harmony, she won the World Choir Games in the pop and jazz categories, and has performed with the likes of Damien Rice, Jacqueline Govaerts and the Rolling Stones.
