Hello, my name is Niels aka DJ six ft. high.
I am an all round DJ, deployable on all kinds of occasions from corporate party to wedding or birthday party.

What I like about DJing is that you're always in a nice, positive atmosphere. That is also what I am looking for when I am DJing; to create a pleasant atmosphere.

There is little that so strongly connects memories and feelings to certain periods in your life as music; everyone has a certain connection between a specific song and a moment in his or her life.

From the sixties to now, from Dutch / après ski to reggae, blues, R&B and rock, I have all styles in house.With my DJ work I have now also become very interested in dance / dance music. This runs from disco via the communards to Rozalla, Snap and the modern work of Martin Garrix and Afrojack.

Appointments
In a pre-conversation with the client, we agree on which styles will and will not be played; together we determine the format of the evening and make a list of which songs should and should not be played. I prepare a set accordingly. But if I notice that the guests are more in the mood for a specific genre at the moment, I respond to that. I prepare things, but I am also guided by the mood on the dance floor. There is always room for request songs. I can look them up for you on the spot.

Equipment
During a party I play from behind my DJ booth, from my laptop so that a request or special request can be quickly looked up in my file of songs,
I own professional audio equipment consisting of large top speakers and a separate subwoofer. This allows me to provide parties of up to##### people with good sound.

I also bring a truss with party lighting consisting of a combination of various types of lighting to a party.
