Michiel Vos is a Dutch lawyer, journalist and America correspondent. He has both Dutch and American nationality. Because of his knowledge about and experience with the U.S., he is regularly invited to current affairs programs and talk shows.

From 2004 to 2015, Vos could be heard weekly as America correspondent on Ruud de Wild's program Ruuddewild.nl. He also worked as a correspondent for VRT (Flemish Radio and Television), EénVandaag (NPO 1) and Goedemorgen Nederland (KRO, Radio 1). In 2017, he could be heard on NPO Radio 2 in the program De Wild in de Middag. In 2006, he also
made several appearances as America correspondent for the final season of Barend & Van Dorp at Talpa. For VPRO, he hosts special movie nights on Nederland 3. He has also been a regular guest on the talk show RTL Late Night since 2016.
In 2014, the VPRO documentary series "My America" was released. Vos has now lived in America for ten years and shows the country through his own eyes. He shows the world of the rich and influential, such as his own American family, but also the land of the street poor, for whom the proverbial American dream all too often turns out to be a nightmare. He thus contrasts the America of the super-rich "1%" with that of the poor, or impoverished "99%," and notes that as a "kid from Groningen," he is uncomfortable with the extremes of this wealth gap.

What enthusiasm. Michiel, as America Expert, knows an enormous amount about Trump, among other things. The way he does this is very accessible and understandable for everyone. Especially the differences between Americans and Europeans was very interesting.
