Chazia Mourali was born in Paris and moved to the Netherlands when she was less than a year old. She went to study French in Utrecht and then rolled into the TV world. She became known to Dutch audiences as host of ''De zwakste schakel.''
Since 2019, Chazia has presented the NPO Radio 1 program ''Goed Ingelichte Kring.'' In it, she joins five women in conversation about various current topics. In 2021, Chazia made a podcast titled 'Madame Machiavelli' together with her daughter Jasmijn. The podcast was about women and power and whether the world would be nicer
from (more) female leaders. In 2021, Chazia made a documentary series about Italian composer Puccini.
Chazia Mourali's conversation with Ukrainian pianist Tatiana Chevtchouk about the war in Ukraine was named The Radio Moment of the Year 2022. This was announced in the NPO Radio1 program De Perstribune from Omroep MAX.
