Ben van der Burg was a successful long track speed skater between 1986 and 1991. In his career he became Dutch all-round champion and finished second at the 1990 World All-Round Championships in Innsbruck. Currently, Ben van der Burg is commercial director at Triple Alkmaar. Triple develops cell phone applications, and virtual reality software and builds artificial intelligence solutions. Ben also produces a podcast about technology (The Technologist). He is co-host of the radio program BNR digital. Furthermore, he is regularly asked as a commentator on technology.
