All-round, house, event and wedding DJ with over 30 years of experience. Plays at festivals, clubs, Ibiza, corporate parties, weddings. Knows through his spinning hours exactly what your guest, your friends, colleagues, family want to hear. You ask? He spins! His musical preference is (tech-, classic-, deep- and progressive-) house, real disco hits and commercial dance. However, he does not shy away from any music genre. People often describe him as a musical chameleon. Besides a huge dose of experience, he has his own light and sound, should your chosen venue not have it. His installation can handle parties up to and including 250 guests.

Of course, the main bulk of my DJ work consists of spinning House at my own parties and invited clients and festivals, but I also often spin as a DJ at weddings, seen by many as the Champions League of the DJ world. As a DJ at a wedding, you cannot and should not fail. After all, it is the most important day of the bride and groom's life. That's when experience really comes into play. As a DJ, can you read your guests? Do you have the right feel when it comes to the tone of the music? Should it be louder, should it be softer, should it be more sensitive, should it be flat, should it be Dutch, should it be Disco, Dance, House, Hoempapaah or everything in between? There's a lot involved in spinning on the day of someone else's life.

It starts well in advance with an introductory meeting at the couple's home or at the wedding location. Does it click between the bride and groom and me? Do we feel for each other? Are we on the same wavelength! If so, a follow-up appointment follows, during which we will focus more on the content. The main question is always the same; "What don't you want to hear at your party!" I'll fill in the rest, along with some requests from the bride and groom. Then we discuss strategy. Does the bride and groom want room for "bits" from family/friends? May Uncle Henk and Aunt Truus use the microphone during the evening to tell a story about the couple? Or would you prefer not to! All matters that you discuss in advance, so that on your day you do not have to worry about unexpected twists/changes in the script.

All in all, I dare say that I have gained enough experience over the past decades to make every party an unforgettable one, without putting myself too much in the spotlight. After all, that is exclusively reserved for the bride and groom!

Last but not least: I have my own sound and lighting equipment. If the wedding location does not have them, I can of course include them in the quote. No problem at all! So are you ready for your wedding? Call/mail/app me and we'll get serious! P.S. Should you not choose for me? At least choose quality! Hiring a bad DJ on the most important day of your life is a NO GO!

DJ Alberto Costa was born and raised in Holland. His first encounter with electronic music was in the 80's, but that was just the beginning of a bigger journey without ending.

It's due to his first visit of the Spanish island of Ibiza in '89, where he was so overwhelmed by the whole electronic music scene (French Kiss - Lil Louis), with its nightlife and its unique atmosphere. This was his inspiration then and it still inspires him today.

This Lifestyle and his unbroken love for Electronic Music is what he wants to represent within his mixes and tracks. He is fond of House hits, (Progressive, Classic & Tech) House, NuDisco and really good Re-Edits. Still chasing his DJ dreams whilst playing around 30/40 times (local
and international) per year and doing weekly Radioshows on Radio NRG
and MeerRadio.
