Bart Chabot is a poet and writer. He wrote and published Popcorn, his poetry debut in 1981. Bart is also the biographer of Herman Brood. Bart can also be seen regularly in the theater: formerly with Jan Mulder and Remco Campert, later with Herman Brood or Jules Deelder. Bart has released several CDs and singles.
In addition, Chabot is a regular participant in the Groot Dictee der Nederlandse Taal. In 2005 he had the honor of writing the lyrics for the Groot Kinderdictee and was the best Dutch prominent participant in the Groot Dictee.
