Hello, my name is Kate Moraa. I am a passionate singer, living in Apeldoorn, born in Kenya and raised in a musical family and since I was a child, music has always been my first love, my companion and my channel of expression. I grew up listening to many different genres of music, from reggae, jazz, R&B, soul, classical, so my interest is huge and I enjoy singing to melodies that I find soothing, comforting, encouraging and fun.

I am also a songwriter and have written a few songs of my own in my native language, the Gusii language, from a small tribe in Kenya, where I grew up. You can listen to some of my songs on my YouTube channel (Kate Moraa).
I sang in a cover band for 5 years before moving to NL, but now I sing as a solo artist and hope one day to find a band to collaborate with.
I like to sing acoustic covers but as an all-round singer I am also open to singing different genres.
