About Jörgen Raymann
Jörgen Raymann was born in the Netherlands, but grew up in Suriname. In the Netherlands he studied economics at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. There he was a member of the cabaret group. After his studies, he went back to Suriname. There he ran his own restaurant for a while, hosting dinners for comedians several times a month.
Since 1999, Raymann has been active on Dutch television. He presented the television program "Zo:Raymann!" (previously known as Raymann is Laat) and The Comedy Factory. He also
performs in the theater. Since 2005, Raymann has been an ambassador for Unicef. Since 2019, he has presented The Morning Show to go of the AD. In 2019, he participated in The Smartest Man in the World in which he was featured for 1 episode. In 2021, he was awarded a knighthood in the Honorary Order of the Yellow Star by the Surinamese government.
