Harold Verwoert is a singer, presenter and actor as well as a composer and lyricist
Harold can certainly be called a jack-of-all-trades in the world of entertainment.

After secondary school he studied classical singing at the Conservatory of Groningen.
Military service threw a spanner in the works and the planned switch to light music was cancelled.

During his military service he did an audition for the theater show "Jeans!
where he subsequently started working as a singer/dancer.
With this company he toured the Dutch theaters for several years.
After more than 700 performances, he stayed on as a vocal coach for a few more years.
He also presented more than 2000 hours of live television on National TV.

After "Jeans" he worked for Palmplus Productions as a Producer of TV programs and performed successfully as a singer under various names. In 2001 he was asked to give shape to the character "Coole Piet" which, after a name change to "Diego", is still one of the important black pieten characters of Sinterklaas. He has more than 80 Sinterklaas songs to his credit, two gold albums and two number 1 records
He made six successful motion pictures as Diego, five of which achieved gold status.

Harold also works as a vocal coach according to Seth Riggs' Speech Level Singing principle.

After having worked for various TV stations as a Presenter (TROS, RTL4, SBS6 and Omroep MAX), he now works as a singer in various dinner shows and has his own project studio where he prepares and sings backing vocals, writes songs and does various singing projects.

Harold is from small boy onwards composed with the music
