Besides her solo career, Karlie is known for her backing vocals in a number of Dutch bands, including The Pilgrims. She was also one of the 15 talents in Team Waylon during the last season of The Voice of Holland.

Since her debut Love song, which came out at the close of 2020, Karlie (pseudonym of singer Karlijn de Vries) has not been idle. On May 7 her new single Meteor Swarm will be released. An upbeat, summery single, with a poppy mood.

The typical raw edge makes Karlijn's voice very recognizable. From Pop to Soul and from Rock to Dance, she sings it all with the greatest ease. The combination of this unique voice with her stage presence, makes for a singer nobody can ignore. This petite blonde is able to play any venue and does this just as easily in a small acoustic setting with a keyboardist or guitarist, as with a DJ or large live band.

With Meteor Swarm, Karlie presents the second single from her debut album to be released later this year. Meteor Swarm is available on all major streaming services and YouTube.
