Nice background music, but still enormously danceable.... Great for you in your beach club or at your wedding. During that special dinner, at the BBQ in the street or maybe even in your living room... Skip the Dishes fits everywhere! Together with you we will make it a party.
We are a band you won't come across very often. Acoustic, but with a huge amount of danceability! All songs are a little bit covered with our own Skip the Dishes sauce, making it a little bit different than usual. We want you to dream away to a lovely beach with palm trees and a coconut with a straw in your hand. Let the music carry you away! Feel free to sing and dance with us.
With our 6-piece band we play the stars from heaven. With a drummer, percussionist, contra-bassist, guitarist and 2 singers, the coolest songs sound through the room.
There will always be dirty dishes, so let's make music!
Making music is the most fun to do! Especially when
you can do it together. The passion and enthusiasm is evident on stage. We enjoy every song... Whether it's a golden oldie or something completely new. Whether it's POP, REGGAE or a ballad.... We make something beautiful together and want you to enjoy every second of it.
So leave those dishes and dance with us!!!
We own our own equipment and lighting. We can bring these at an additional cost of €200,-. This will always be in consultation with the applicant.
The indicated amount is based on a performance of 120 minutes divided over 2 sets. If the performance is longer or shorter than indicated here, this can always be discussed.
Requested songs are always welcome, but please indicate well in advance what song it would be. Then we can see if it is possible to add it to the setlist of the gig.

Ze waren oprecht ronduit schitterend, en dan vooral, maar zeker niet alleen de zang. Het zijn super lieve, fijne mensen die met veel passie hun hobby uitvoeren. Ze zijn van ver gekomen om ons hier een avondje winter BBQ te verwennen met heerlijke nummers. We kenden ze niet, maar zijn super super blij dat we per toeval bij hen uitgekomen zijn. Schitterende mensen, schitterende zang!

Two fine people with whom we had very good contact in advance about arrangements and the genre to be played. They came from far away for us, but were well on time, bringing a lot more stuff than we thought. A bus full of instruments, equipment and light show. What a surprise, very nice! And then they started playing. What a wonderful party was created. The music we like, and everything was negotiable. A little louder or softer, something more from that artist and they just kept going. They stayed a little longer than agreed upon because a neighbor song was sung in between, and even played an extra closing song, even though their time was long gone. Afterwards we stood around chatting for a while. In short, only very positive experiences. These nice people-this nice band-are more than worth their money. As far as we are concerned, highly recommended and definitely worth repeating.
