Long ago in Paris, storyteller Fons Boer saw a musician with a small barrel organ on a cargo bike in the square in front of Centre Pompidou. The man played songs by Charles Trenet, Georges Brassens, Jacques Brel, and he sang beautifully along with them. It was an image that would never leave his retina.
In 2005 he took the plunge and started building a barrel organ of his own design. Since 2011 he performs with his barrel organ Deuntje voor Teuntje. Fons Boer / Theater De Overkant

Fons performed for 15 people who meet once a month for a chat. This performance made a lot of impression on them, songs from the past they could sing along with the lovely sound of Teuntje. In one word fantastic. Definitely worth repeating
