MelaniesMelodies provides beautiful balads and swinging pop, jazz & cabaret classics as musical accompaniment to (the backdrop of) your special occasion!

Combining a diverse set-list with a warm sound and a personal touch, singer Melanie effortlessly adds atmosphere to your event, while guests can just keep talking to each other!

MelaniesMelodies is ideally suited if you are looking for:
√ musical support for your (Christmas) lunch, fair, reception, networking drinks or dinner.
√ interpretation of specific songs within the theme of your (company) event.
√ a special interpretation for your (anniversary) party or living room concert.

ABOUT MELANIE:
A child from a family of music professionals, Melanie was instilled with a love of the stage and lost her heart to her voice at an early age. She sang in choirs, bands and occasional ensembles, and while in college starred in musical theater productions such as Hair and A Little Night Music. In 2020, Melanie completed the two-year course at the Vocal Performance Institute, with a solo kleinkunst program centered around the songs of Zaanse composer Dirk Witte (1885-1935). Melanie collaborates with various instrumentalists.

SETTING
A performance of MelaniesMelodies is standard performed with tapes, but can also take place with live musicians: for example with 1 or 2 guitarists, with guitar & (contra)bass, or with (a combination with) a pianist. Guests can still hear each other but can also dance carefully if they wish! (ATTENTION: live musicians are subject to special rates)

*** TIP! ***
After the drinks really nice with the feet of the floor? The setting can be expanded to a full 7 or 9 piece party band, with 2 guitars, bass, horns, drums and double vocals, or even with horns!

TIMING
MelaniesMelodies, can be booked for a single song to a full evening program of for example 3x40min, and comes standard including the construction and dismantling of a small sound set for intimate to medium settings to +- 100 people

* For settings above 100 people or larger spaces, more extensive professional sound technology can be hired in consultation.
** On request a new song can be rehearsed for special occasions!
