Arthuro, keyboards & vocals, born in The Hague in March 1957 is a dyed-in-the-wool singer/musician. He started his career in 1977 as a drummer in the band "Friction" which was continued two years later as the band "Twilight".

When the band broke up after 5 years, he founded together with Harry Wolf the new 5-man super formation "Desire", which got a lot of fame nationwide.

He played as support act for Saskia & Serge, Rob de Nijs, Ben Cramer, Imca Marina, Maywood, Gordon and Marco Borsato. In 1995 he started a duo with bass player Harold Versluijs under the name "Spirit" and since 2001 he is an all-round singer/entertainer

He has an eye for atmosphere and audience. He has an ear for both sound quality and volume. The latter he knows from experience and can not be stressed enough. And is he on the stage than he gives himself completely.

Wedding, corporate event, football club, restaurants, hotels, fairs or brown cafe, from intimate dinner to dance school, behind the billiards or in front of the minister, he feels in his element everywhere.
