"Duospheric" is a duet made in Rotterdam by Alkistis Labropoulou & Nikos Charalambous with a mix of Pop, Jazz, Latin and Blues and even Greek music. The band plays events all over Rotterdam/The Hague/Amsterdam and all areas in between.

Alkistis is a Jazz & World Music singer from Greece who currently lives in the Netherlands. Alkistis is a versatile musician who likes to explore different musical genres. She started her singing career with pop & rock 'n roll as well as soul & funk music. Her passion for improvisation & jazz music brought her to the Netherlands where she studied deeply in this genre. During her studies next to Jazz she became involved in projects of Latin, tango and Greek music. Her experiments and involvement in learning different musical styles of the world, together with her love for improvisation, identified her by using her voice as an instrument with a non-word approach and by arranging the folk music of the world in different languages such as Spanish, Portuguese and her native Greek. Strange meters, oriental melodies, Latin vibes, non-word singing and jazz improvisations is what you can expect from her music!

Nikos is a guitar player born in Limassol, Cyprus in 1991. He started with guitar around the age of 16 and was mostly self-taught at that time. He initially surrounded himself with rock/metal music, built his own band while composing his own songs and eventually started performing in Rock clubs and festivals around the island.​
Gradually the musical search moved into jazz and the improvisational aspect of music. In 2013 he enrolled himself in ArtEZ University of the Arts Arnhem where he obtained his Bachelor degree in Jazz & Pop Guitar Performance.
Through this time, besides leading his own groups with original compositions, being a side-man for various projects within jazz, pop and free improvised music he has also performed for dance, film and art productions in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.
After completing his Master’s degree on Jazz guitar at Codarts Rotterdam, he continues to compose new material and develop further in his musical journey with various band formations through genres like jazz, blues, rock, funk, pop, latin, free-impro and electronic music.
