Baragan grew out of the journeys Jense Meek took with his accordion as his traveling companion. Road trips with no destination, full of adventure, carried along by the wind. Inspired by life as a street musician and its chance encounters, Baragan’s music came to be.
After performing in Germany, Belgium, France, Spain, and Morocco, she finally found the peace and quiet to refine her songs in a tranquil country house on a winery in Sicily. They take you along on this journey—toward the sun, along narrow paths, through small squares, and along coastal roads…
Baragan can also be booked as a solo act (vocals/accordion/percussion), as a duo, and with an expanded lineup (+trumpet/ukulele, double bass, +vocals, +violin, +drums/percussion). See Baragan

Baragan performs unamplified or amplified for sets ranging from 10 to 240 minutes. Baragan plays a mix of original songs and covers. We also regularly learn songs upon request.

The amazing guys from Bomba Naranja (including a drummer) were at our wedding to liven up the evening with their music. And they certainly did!!! They started playing while we were still enjoying our Italian-style dinner, and their music was the perfect complement to the meal. We hired these guys to provide evening music for a small, woodland wedding (approx. 40 guests) and, oh boy, they delivered the party. For our 25th wedding anniversary we were looking for music, different than usual. What appealed so much to us about Baragan was the story behind the music and the versatility of songs and playing just as different instruments as usual. Baragan played 180 min. at our garden party and everyone on the floor also got the large group of young people. Afterwards we got a lot of compliments on the band and the music and vocals, they fitted completely in the total picture of the evening. In advance they thought with you there was a nice and quick contact with Jense. An absolute must for an unforgettable party!

What heroes! We hired BombaNaranja for the opening of Eindhoven train station to make music together with travelers in the created musical (stations) living room. The duo knew how to play various instruments flawlessly and challenged visitors and travelers to jam along. They sang modern and classical hits in Dutch, English and even Spanish. The musical living room was filled with spectators who couldn't stand still throughout the entire programme. You just wanted to dance along and clap. Highly recommended!
