Big Fun Band is the Big Band for your event. Both during the prestigious International Big Band Festival in Berlin and during the Big Band Battle Brielle they managed to get a 2nd prize! They are also a returning guest at North Sea Jazz Round Town in Rotterdam, as a warmer for the North Sea Jazz Festival. Recently they even released their own CD. Book them now on ShowBird!
Based on your wishes, we will gladly dedicate ourselves with enthusiasm to making your party a success that will be discussed at length. The programme and choice of music will be composed in consultation with you. Our diverse and varied repertoire enables us to provide an appropriate musical accompaniment for every occasion.
We're not the standard big band that only plays pieces by Frank Sinatra (of course we do, because it's crazy too), but we like to distinguish ourselves a bit from other bands with less "standard" big band arrangements of poppy pieces by Amy Winehouse, Brian Setzer / Stray Cats, Earth Wind & Fire, Michael Jackson, Queen, Chaka Khan, Oasis, Jamie Cullum, De Dijk, Pharrell Williams, Van Morrisson and
even Beethoven
For over 30 years, the Big Fun Band has guaranteed high quality classical and modern big band music. Our swinging rhythm section loosens the feet while the brass and saxes blow the roof off. The Big Fun Band switches effortlessly from big band heroes like Duke Ellington and Count Basie, to contemporary blazers like Caro Emerald!

This band was in one word fantastic! The surprise party in my own garden was completely finished by the class and versatility of this big band. It was swinging, buzzing and popping! From traditional big band repertoire to swing arrangements of known and modern hits. Highly recommended for those who love unadulterated, unadulterated big band and parties! A guaranteed A Okay, and great guests too...
