At the age of one and a half years it was already clear to DJ Wiebe that music would determine a large part of his life. Even then he could tap his foot to a different rhythm than with his hand. Wiebe was asked to play music at a party and from then on his love for the DJ profession was aroused and he began to specialize in it.

His DJ career started in 1994 in Bergen in discotheque "the Club". Soon after, he became resident DJ at the student disco Dansen bij Jansen, now Disco Dolly, in Amsterdam. Dansen bij Jansen has always been known as a breeding ground for young talent. Dj's like Dimitri, Marcello and Chuckie once started out in this discotheque. This turned out to be a good start for Wiebe as well, because after this many performances followed in clubs in Amsterdam and in the rest of the country.

From his experience as a DJ and the many different locations where dj Wiebe has played, he thought the time was ripe to start organizing his own parties, which he did with great enthusiasm for several years. Besides the club nights and his own parties, dj Wiebe has played at many outdoor events like Mysteryland, Pleasure Island, Dance Valley, Sneakerz etc. He has played with big names in the DJ scene such as David Guetta, Afrojack, Bob Sinclair, Laidback Luke, Sidney Samson, Erik E, Roog, Hardwell, Fedde le Grand, Jean and many others.

From 2007 Wiebe has also focused on spinning for the fashion industry. In 2010 he was asked by Tommy Hilfiger to spin and since then he is one of the regular DJs for line-openings, during company parties and concept parties and provides the music for the dinners in the by Tommy Hilfiger operated People's Place in Amsterdam. He is the music atmosphere controller for Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein. From that role he has become the instore music director for the Calvin Klein stores worldwide.



Dj Wiebe de Vries is seen as one of the few DJs who has mastered all genres. Whether it's house, disco, soul, hip hop, r&b, jazz, lounge, top 40 or 80's-90's-00's, Wiebe knows how to create a great DJ set with a personal touch and a sense of atmosphere. Wiebe's sets are recognizable by, cheerfulness, positivity and the energy of his DJ skills. With this he knows how to lift the atmosphere on every dance floor to a higher level.
