Gilbert is an artist with a mission. As a member of the 1990s rap hit sensation "King Bee," he won the prestigious Edison award with this group. King Bee is known for hits such as "Back by Dope Demand" and "Must Be The Music." Shortly after the millennium, he left the music industry to focus fully on his coaching practice. He has since become successful as a RESET Coach, trainer, speaker, author and PowerSong Performer.

Now he is back as an artist with a mission. Through his music (Pop/Rap/R&B) he touches people and inspires people to be the best they can be. Gilbert combines his two greatest passions: music and inspiring people.

Gilbert now has his own theater show: Discover The Power in Yourself, which he performed in a full theater de Meervaart. Gilbert is also increasingly asked to tell his poignant and inspiring story in interviews or to talk about how he found the power in himself. This is often combined with his PowerSongs which empower his story.
