A unique duo consisting of bandoneón and 8-string guitar, the repertoire consists of Argentine music. Not only tangos and milongas from the city but also Argentine folklore. The folkloristic styles are dances from different provinces inspired by the country's vast and diverse natural landscapes.
Alvaro Rovira Ruiz from Buenos Aires has been living in the Netherlands for several years and has founded this duo together with Simone van der Weerden. They got to know each other through the Rotterdam Conservatory where they both graduated
Since 2016 the duo has been active and have played at various renowned venues including the Grachtenfestival, Herman van Veen Arts center, they have also been guests at NPO radio 4 several times and they have been guests at the program of Dieuwertje Blok ..
