Eight years ago Carlien started performing and has since then released 2 EP's and a single, performed all over the Netherlands from living rooms to Paradiso, and outside the Netherlands at festivals on Hawaii, West America and Australia. Her voice is reminiscent of a mix of Norah Jones and Joni Mitchell and her music is inspired by KT Tunstall, Passenger and Corine Bailey Rae. In short; Popfolk with heart and soul.

Carlien performed at an online event with a high business ICT content that we had today. Especially for this event she had written a song that addressed a number of important themes in a very original way. And she did great in every way and I like to explain that great.
