Make it happen tonight, Because If she's not there....The blues never leaves you. Can the lights be turned off? With bleeding hearts we wake up in a strange world....

Achter De Dijk has years of experience as a Nederpop cover band and is well known in the Utrecht region under the name MaatVol, including performances at the Neude in Utrecht during Koningsdag/Nacht (3 consecutive years) and already 4 times at Kleurrijk Wijk festival in Wijk bij Duurstede (catering references available). We have also performed in the rest of the Netherlands (from Oosterhout/Breda to Hindeloopen/Friesland).

The present band formation has been playing together for over 6 years and has, among other things, provided a special Nederblues performance based on the repertoire of De Dijk. The passion for the unique sound and the feeling we want to convey with it is what made us put together this tribute. This has already created a small group of loyal Dijk fans.

For an hour to 45 minutes we will play the best of De Dijk for you. Should there be a need for a full evening repertoire, we can also play a set of various Dutch pop covers, including Blof, Het Goede Doel, Doe Maar, IOS etc. This will include both uptempo and more serious songs: the best from decades of Dutch pop.
